Mission

SaveOCEAN builds open ocean-monitoring dashboards, AI monitoring, acidification prediction capabilities and field-ready tools so anyone can see what is happening with the ocean and for the next generation of leaders to accelerate SDG 14.

Strategic Objective

SaveOCEAN is commitment to environmental sustainability by moving beyond awareness toward measurable, data-driven action. Our organization bridges the gap between complex marine science and practical implementation through the use of AI and IoT.

Our strategy is build on four critical pillars:

First, we focus on Accelerating SDG 14 (Life Below Water). By developing open health dashboards and AI-powered monitoring tools, they provide coastal communities and fisheries with the data needed to make informed decisions about plastic pollution and thermal stress on reefs. This “science-to-action” approach ensures that sustainability efforts are grounded in evidence rather than general assumptions.

Secondly, the Ocean Infrastructure. Through the “10,000 Ships for the Ocean” initiative, SaveOCEAN advocates for turning the global hobby and commercial fleet into mobile sensors for ocean health. This transforms the maritime industry from a potential polluter into an active guardian of the sea, creating a massive, decentralized monitoring network.

Thirdly, we prioritize Actionable Results in high-risk areas. From identifying plastic hotspots to providing real-time data for oil spill responses, we replace generic environmental claims with specific technical solutions. Our work helps small-scale fishers optimize traceability and reduce bycatch, directly impacting global food security and marine biodiversity.

Finally, our organization foster Educational Transparency. Through our commitment to open science, we ensure that the next generation of leaders has the tools to restore marine habitats.

SaveOCEAN Founder Statement

As the Founder and Chief Ocean Officer, my journey has been deeply intertwined with the ocean for many years. My commitment to environmentalism stems from witnessing firsthand the increasing impact of various pollutants on our seas during my years working offshore. Being offshore provided a stark and unfiltered view of how our oceans are affected daily. Witnessing the escalating crisis firsthand ignited in me a powerful desire to move beyond mere observation and actively contribute to solutions.

The frustration of seeing the ocean I love being degraded over the years, often without effective monitoring or timely intervention, became a catalyst for SaveOCEAN innovation. This pivotal moment marked a turning point in my career, shifting my focus from simply working on the ocean to actively working to protect it.

The vision behind SaveOCEAN is : to address the urgent problem of ocean health through the development and deployment of cutting-edge technology, guided by a deep understanding of the marine environment. The company’s mission is rooted in a commitment to creating cleaner, healthier, and more resilient oceans for future generations.

I hope to ignite a collective sense of responsibility and empower others to become part of the solution, working together towards a healthier and more sustainable future for our oceans.
