Five problems. Five ways in.
The ocean is failing at four pressure points: heat, overfishing, plastic, and silence in policy rooms. We work on all four — and so can you. Pick the door closest to where you stand.
Our strategy is built around the “Next Generation Leadership” initiative, transparent data, dashboards and the integration of AI.
Next Generation Leadership Summit
For founders, early-career professionals, and ESG investors
Lead before you’re asked to.
By 2030, every company with European exposure will report on ocean impact. Most don’t know how yet. Our summit pairs next-gen founders, ESG investors, and early-career scientists with the AI and reporting tools the next decade of ocean work will run on — SDG 14 and CSRD-ready, by design.

Technology and AI
For companies, researchers, and policymakers
From grey boxes to blue hearts.
Most ocean data dies in a PDF no one opens. We move it into live dashboards so anyone can read.
How it works:
- Public dashboards, documented methodology and auditable by default.
- AI scale up for oil spills, chemical plumes, and plastic accumulation and predictions.
- Trained local networks from fishers and students collecting what satellites can’t see.
- Policy briefs decision-makers actually use — not 80-page reports that gather dust.
Restoration & Pollution Control
For marina administration and hobby boat owners
From pilot to coastline.
Our strategy is to bridge between pilot testing to global implementation:
Active Restoration: seagrass and coral projects moving from test plots to working coastlines.
Litter-Free Sea: Implementing coastal monitoring at scale.
Global Policy & Strategic Partnerships
Turn hobby boats into coastal eyes.
Moving towards policy advocate and open science following the Third UN Ocean Conference (UNOC3) framework.
We fully support and advocate the initiative to onboard commercial fleets.
Additionally every hobby boat crosses water no scientist will visit this year. SaveOCEAN equips them with low-cost sensors and digital tools. We back it. We help build it. And we make the data public.

Community Hubs & OceanQuest
Real action, not aquariums.
We’re turning conservation talks into local learning hubs — and making them playable through OceanQuest. One reef, one estuary, one harbor at a time. Built so a 12-year-old and a city council can use the same data.
What’s one small thing you’d do, if you knew it moved the needle?
Tell us. We’ll show you the exact data point your action changes.
Volunteer & Build this with us
We’re a small Norwegian team taking on big problems, and we grow by adding the right people — most roles start as volunteer, paid as we scale.
Open roles:
- Scientific advisor
- Software developper
- Social media manager
- Regional coordinator Nordics
Remote or on-site in Asker.
